Privacy

Privacy. Plainly explained.

This Privacy Policy explains how Dolvent Health Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC487362 and registered office at 18 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 6AY ("Dolvent", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal data in connection with the website dolvent.info and the sale of Omega-3 Triple by cash-on-delivery. This document was last published on 11 August 2026 and forms part of our wider terms of trading alongside our Cookie Policy, Terms of Use and Returns Policy.

1. Scope and purpose of this policy

This policy applies to anyone who visits dolvent.info, submits an order request through our website, telephones or emails our customer service team, or otherwise contacts Dolvent Health Ltd about Omega-3 Triple. It covers personal data processed both online, through our web forms and cookies, and offline, through telephone confirmation calls and courier handover records. It does not extend to the practices of independent third parties, such as couriers or payment networks, once your data has lawfully passed to them under their own privacy notices, although we set out below which organisations we share data with and why. We encourage every visitor to read this policy in full before submitting an order, and we review its content periodically to reflect changes in our processing activities or in the law.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

Dolvent Health Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR") and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our registered office and correspondence address is 18 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 6AY, Scotland, United Kingdom. You can reach our privacy team by telephone on +44 141 389 4910 during our published hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30, or by email at [email protected] at any time. We aim to log every privacy-related enquiry on the working day it is received and to allocate it to a named member of staff within one further working day. Written correspondence can also be sent to our registered office, marked for the attention of the Data Protection Contact.

3. Personal data we collect

When you submit an order request through the form on dolvent.info, we collect your full name, telephone number, delivery address, city, postcode and any notes you choose to add, such as preferred delivery instructions. When our team calls to confirm your order, we may record the outcome of that call, including confirmation status, requested delivery date and any objections you raise, in our order management system. If you contact us by email or telephone outside the order process, we keep a record of your message, your contact details and our response. Our website also automatically collects limited technical data, including your approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring website and the pages you view, which is used for security, analytics and service reliability rather than to identify you personally wherever this can be avoided.

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on several lawful bases depending on the activity in question. Where you submit an order, we process your name, telephone number and address because it is necessary to take steps you request prior to entering into a contract, and subsequently to perform that contract once your order is confirmed by telephone. Where you consent to optional cookies or to receive marketing communications, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Where we retain call records, prevent fraud, secure our website or respond to legal claims, we rely on our legitimate interests, having balanced those interests against your rights and freedoms. Where the law requires us to keep financial or delivery records, such as for tax or consumer protection purposes, we rely on our legal obligations.

5. How we use your information

We use your order information to verify your identity by telephone, to schedule and track delivery of Omega-3 Triple, to answer questions about your order, and to process any return or refund request you make. We use technical and analytics data to understand how visitors use dolvent.info, to identify and fix errors, to prevent automated form submissions and fraud, and to improve page load times and content. Where you have opted in, we use your contact details to send order-related updates by SMS or telephone and, only with separate consent, occasional information about new products. We do not use your personal data to make any decision about you based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and no such automated decision-making takes place on this website.

6. Data retention periods

We retain order and delivery records, including name, telephone number, address and order value, for six years from the end of the calendar year in which the order was placed, in order to meet our accounting, tax and consumer protection obligations under UK law. Call recordings and confirmation notes are retained for twelve months, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems. Records of customer service correspondence that does not relate to a completed order are retained for twenty-four months from the date of the last contact. Analytics and technical logs are retained for a maximum of fourteen months in an identifiable form before being aggregated or deleted. Where you ask us to erase your data and no overriding legal obligation applies, we will complete that erasure within thirty calendar days.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies to remember your cookie preferences and to keep the order form functioning correctly, analytics cookies to understand aggregate visitor behaviour, and, only where you consent, marketing cookies used to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Full details of every cookie we use, including its name, purpose and lifespan, are set out in our separate Cookie Policy, which forms part of this document by reference. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from browsing the site or submitting an order request.

8. Third-party processors and recipients

We share personal data with a limited number of trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under written contracts that require them to protect your data to at least the standard required by UK GDPR. These include national delivery couriers such as Royal Mail, DPD UK and Evri, who receive your name, address and telephone number solely to deliver your parcel and to contact you about delivery arrangements. We also use a customer engagement platform for outbound confirmation calls and SMS notifications, a cloud hosting provider for the technical operation of dolvent.info, and a privacy-focused web analytics tool for aggregate traffic statistics. None of these providers is permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes, and we do not sell personal data to any third party.

9. International transfers of data

Most of our processing takes place within the United Kingdom. Where a service provider, such as our cloud hosting or analytics provider, processes data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure that an adequate level of protection applies, either because the destination country benefits from a UK adequacy decision or because the transfer is governed by the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent UK-approved mechanism. We carry out a transfer risk assessment before any such arrangement begins and review it at least every two years or sooner if the receiving country's laws materially change. A summary of current international transfers can be requested by writing to [email protected].

10. Your rights under UK GDPR

Subject to certain exemptions, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of data you provided to us. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without this affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Where you believe our processing is unlawful, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office, as described in section 11 below. None of these rights are absolute, and we will explain any exemption that applies when we respond to your request.

11. How to exercise your rights and our complaints procedure

To exercise any of the rights described above, please email [email protected] or write to Dolvent Health Ltd, 18 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 6AY, clearly describing the right you wish to exercise and including enough information for us to verify your identity. We aim to acknowledge every rights request within three working days and to provide a full response within one calendar month, extendable by a further two months for complex or numerous requests, in which case we will explain the delay in writing. There is no fee for a straightforward request, although we may charge a reasonable administrative fee for manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive requests. If you remain unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, or via ico.org.uk, although we would welcome the opportunity to resolve your concern directly first.

12. Children's data

Our website and products are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal data to us should contact [email protected] so that we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion of the data concerned within a reasonable timeframe.

13. Security measures

We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted connections between your browser and our servers, restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis, and regular review of our third-party contracts. Order data submitted through our website is transmitted over an encrypted connection, and call recordings are stored on access-controlled systems available only to trained customer service staff. While we take these obligations seriously, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot fully assure absolute security, so we ask that you also take care to protect any confirmation details you receive from us.

14. Changes to this policy and revision history

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processing activities, our service providers or the law.
